I’m pretty content with my completely vegan skin care regime right now! I’ve discovered some wonderful natural and organic products that actually make me excited to pamper my skin at the end of a long day- this is a big deal as cleansing and removing my makeup is up there with one of my most hated beauty tasks! I’m definitely seeing the benefits in my skin of using all natural products and lots of my current favourites are really affordable too so they’re great if you’re on a budget. I can’t wait to share these skin care finds with you…

Vita Coco Coconut Oil (Vegan) | £5.99 UK (Currently £5 at Boots!) | $8.99 USA Shop Here

Is there anything coconut oil can’t do?! I’m just as fond of flipping my pancakes with it as I am smothering it all over my skin. For the latter, Vita Coco is my go to for removing makeup- it’s organic, 100% natural and of course, it has that amazing fresh coconut scent. The 250ml size is the perfect portable jar for your skin care drawer and the affordable tub always lasts me ages. If you haven’t used coconut oil as a makeup remover before, it comes in a solid format but immediately melts on contact with warm skin. I often get small dry patches of skin on my face and I find coconut oil is the perfect remedy to hydrate these, while removing all traces of my makeup and dirt. As it’s a greasy formula, it’s especially great at eliminating tough to remove eye makeup, without lots of rubbing to make sensitive eyes sore. Use it on a cotton or cloth makeup pad for a moisturising makeup remover from nature herself!

Benecos Facial Cleansing Wipes* (Vegan) | £3.46 UK

I’m not ashamed to admit when I’m feeling lazy, I just want to skip my whole skin care regime and grab a face wipe and be done with it! These fantastic wipes are not only cruelty-free but vegan too and they remove my makeup and rid my face of the day’s dirt with ease! They have a subtle fresh citrus scent and they’re 100% biodegradable so they’re also environmentally friendly. I’m looking forward to taking these on trips away and they would be the ideal refreshing face wipes for your gym bag too!

Benecos Organic Orange Lip Balm* (Vegan) | £2.45 UK

It’s difficult to find a lip balm that’s not only cruelty-free but vegan too, as so many lip products contain beeswax. I’ve been loving using this Benecos balm; it’s organic, amazingly priced and smells and tastes of sweet orange thanks to its infused orange oil (sometimes I put it on just for the delicious taste!) Though if orange isn’t your favourite flavour, it also comes in original, raspberry and mint (raspberry is on my to buy list!) I use this before bed so I wake up with super soft lips and it’s also been great to throw in my handbag and keep my lips hydrated on the go. As I’ve mentioned in my recent blog posts, I’m embracing trying out natural and organic skincare products at the moment so I love that this ticks both boxes!

Naobay Calming Face Toner (Vegan) | £14.99 UK

Ok, so I’m pretty much obsessed with this toner. It’s gentle, organic, vegan and most importantly, leaves my skin feeling really clean and refreshed! I love the unique packaging and the wooden top, which adds to the natural feel of the product. I’m always surprised after I cleanse my face just how much dirt and makeup residue remains, so this toner has been amazing at keeping my breakouts at bay. It does seem to be a little hard to get hold of at the moment, so I think I’m going to try Naobay’s HydraPlus Face Toner next!

The Jojoba Company 100% Natural Jojoba + Rosehip Oil* (Vegan)| £16.95 UK |$22 USA Shop Here

My sister swears by natural oils such as rosehip to keep her skin glowing, so I was intrigued to try this completely natural oil concoction. Rosehip oil is able to  penetrate the top layers of the skin but unlike jojoba, it can’t reach the deeper layers- which is why The Jojoba Company have combined the two. I’ve been using a few drops of the oil as a night time moisturiser after my cleansing and toning routine and my skin feels incredibly soft and hydrated the next morning! Although I was initially expecting the oil to feel quite greasy to apply, it’s actually rather dry and is absorbed quickly, but it still feels luxurious on my skin. There’s no discernible scent and the pipette applicator makes it really simple to dispense just the few drops you need so you’re getting your money’s worth too. Apparently the oil is ideal to use on stretch marks so it’s multi purpose as well. You’re getting a daily dose of antioxidants and vitamins with this product and I’ve been really enjoying using this oil so I would definitely recommend you try it for yourself. I can’t not mention the packaging either- it’s metallic pink, chic and super cute!
